"Unlike the conventional municipal park, Harlow's Town park was planned with no hard boundaries shutting it off from the urban area, so that it merges imperceptibly with its surroundings. The picturesque hamlet of Netteswell cross, with its old houses and pub, was incorporated in the design so that there would be life in the park at all times."

	Programme of Events Events aound and connected with the park, including at the bandstand and on the Showground. "Park Life" newsletter.
	Harlow Town Park Users Group (HTPUG) The group is now an independent "Friends of the park Group" and meets every few months to discuss the development of the park and issues of concern. Everybody is welcome.
